About Aura Tools
Aura Tools is an independently run project building free, genuinely useful online tools. We believe that basic productivity utilities shouldn't be locked behind expensive subscriptions or intrusive paywalls.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build simple, fast tools that work right in your browser. We focus on privacy-first, client-side processing, which means tools like our PDF Toolkit, LLM Cost Calculator and Prompt Optimizer run entirely on your own machine — those files and text never reach our servers at all. Two tools genuinely need a server to do their job: the Video Clipper has to receive your video in order to cut it, and the AI Humanizer sends your text away to be rewritten. We say so plainly on each of those pages rather than making a blanket promise we can't keep.
Who runs this
My name is Aniq and I build and maintain Aura Tools from Pakistan. This is not a company — it is one developer, working on it in the evenings, paying the hosting bill out of pocket.
It started with the PDF toolkit. I kept hitting the same wall: the free online PDF sites either capped you at two files a day, stamped a watermark across your document, or asked you to upload a contract to a server you knew nothing about. Almost every PDF operation people actually need — merging, splitting, rotating, compressing, converting — can run entirely inside a modern browser without uploading anything at all. So I built the tools that way, and the rest of the site grew around them.
Everything here is free with no account, because the alternative was building a paywall around work that costs me almost nothing to serve. If a tool on this site is broken or a guide is wrong, I am the person who reads that email. Write to hello@auraofficial.pk and it reaches me directly.
How our guides are written
I would rather describe how I actually work than make claims about credentials you have no way to check.
I write every guide by hand and check it against the tools on this site before publishing. When a guide says a particular setting produces a particular result, that was tried on a real file first. Where something does not work — and plenty of PDF operations do not work the way people expect — we say so instead of glossing over it.
I do not publish unedited AI-generated filler. If you find something in a guide that is wrong or out of date, please tell us and we will correct it.
